Nurul Huda Rashid is currently a postdoctoral researcher at Leiden University having recently completed a PhD in the Cultural Studies in Asia programme at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Her dissertation examines images of Muslim women in the data turn, theorised through new modes of image reproduction via algorithmic circulation. 

​Nurul loves smelling old books and hopes to adopt a cat someday.
